Founded in Copenhagen in 2017, Tekla grew out of a desire to bring a fresh, modern sensibility and a sense of freedom to the homeware space. Drawing inspiration from art and architecture — especially the work of John Pawson, Donald Judd, Le Corbusier, and Agnes Martin — we craft elevated yet functional pieces grounded in timeless, straightforward design.

Since day one, Tekla has stood for an honest, uncompromising commitment to quality, something we’ve built by working closely with our production partners. We know we have a role to play in doing better for the planet, so we steer clear of fast trend cycles and design with longevity in mind. As a certified B Corp, we’re part of a global community using business as a force for good.
